BR 6-9: A Picture to Remember

"Suddenly an old Peugeot 504, which was parked on Avenida del Libertador, started and drove towards them. Cristina was looking for a taxi when she saw the Peugeot coming right at them. She shouted and pulled Philippeback from the road, but it was too late - the car hit Philippe and then drove away along the Avenida." (p. 38)

This week, I read this book, "A Picture to Remember".

The story takes place in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The main character, Cristina, works in a museum, named "Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes". One day, on the way home from work to the gym, she rides her bike and waits for a traffic light. Then, she sees  two men in a car next to her, one of them has a gun, and her eyes meet his. The man also has a tattoo of a red poppy on his neck. Cristina gets stuck and she is struck by the car from behind and loses her memory at that time. The men are criminals of a bank robbery, and they plan to kill Cristina...

Before reading this book I thought it was a love story, but this is a suspence. It was interesting that Cristina, the main character, is chased by the men, even though she has lost memory.
